  Hostess told us about the lunch combo menu and we ordered off of it and the waitress then told us that the lunch combo menu was not availible. Next two people in our party ordered baked potatoes as sides and after 20 minutes the waitress said they couldnt serve the baked potatoes due to quality and that baked potatoes usually are served after 4pm. We do't do Applebees often and when we do, we quickly are reminded why we don't.

  Went there to meet with my sister..I don't live in Hanford, I live in Sacramento.. we wanted to buy her dinner and spend time with her.. She got there early so we ended up sitting at a table NEAR her...we pulled the waitress aside and explained the situation...and asked her to please bring me their ticket...because we still wanted to surprise her with that...spoke to the waitress and said,,can you please say nothing to her...and bring us her bill so we can pay it.. The waitress said sure..30 minutes later we were still sitting there waiting...an hour goes by... the waitress went by and whispered in my bf ear (She said no...so we can't give you the bill) Wait a minute...WHO said no? You mean the person I asked you NOT to tell??? My sister? The one you weren't supposed to say anything to? Yea.. So they ruined the surprise...for my sister..whom I hadn't seen in forever...Thanks alot! We will never return to any of these establishments.. I will find one who doesn't blow a surprise and one who will allow us to blow an obscene amount of money...and won't care if I pay someone elses bill! Only reason I gave you one star, is because it wouldnt let me post without giving one...
